Schooltime...

Still working on Liam's 1st year at Pre-Kindergarten..this layout shows Liam pretend reading to me...now that he is a "BIG BOY" and in school... I was so glad to get these cute photos.. even if his story was just made-up.... that's what Nonna's are for, eh??

The journaling spot is hidden behind the smaller picture..and easily pulled out...

First Day Jitters...

I've been looking through the many photos I took of Liam on his first day of pre-kindergarten, last fall and recalling it all so vividly.. he had such mixed feelings..actually..... me, too!! hee hee

With Sympathy...

You know those days... when you go to the grocery store to get some milk...and come home with pork chops, cheesies, grapes and no milk...??? hee hee..

yupp...I was looking for a new blade for my circle cutter, I had this idea for a new layout ( same box that I keep some of my stencils ) when I came across this "Glimmer Screen Stencils - Garden Blossom" by Tattered Angles that I had never used.. quickly got busy..laid down my stencil..sponged some Ranger Bundled Sage all around it, blended in some Vintage Photo,,,shadow stamped with some Tim Holtz stamps and inks, broke out the Glitz Distress Stamps... a little tearing, a lttle crimping.... some jute rope and before you know it.... it's supper time... and I have this wonderful card....

but I've completely forgotten about that dang blade for my circle cutter.....!!

ooooooh well.....maybe I'll work on that layout tomorrow..?? hee hee

Don't these beautiful children look like Angels...??? they are the precious property of my half-sister Gail's daughter, Trina.. and she has graciously given me permission to let me post my Layout of them on my blog...

I've had these photos of Kiara & Liam for several years now..I've just never been able to scrap them..I'd look at them...have a good giggle or two... and hope one day I'd feel inspired to do them justice...

I have JUST gotten an older line from Cosmo Cricket - Cogsmo.. and knew it was the perfect collection for this...especially once I read the strip tease that went with it... What fun!! hee hee
