Happy Birthday...

Fussy Cut the Stazon Jet Black stamped bottle image on a plastic sheet and backed it on white cardstock, that I distress inked with Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass, drew some flower stalks, then Glossy Accent-ed them together to get that "watery" look....

Distressed inked all the edges with Vintage Photo...

It took a little time to die-cut, punch and distress all of the flowers and leaves but I really love the finished card..

More punching and distressing..

That little tag from Tim Holtz is perfect here..

and the Typewriter font of the Stamps is just "rite" for this Vintage Card...!!

I have to admit this was a time consuming card but the end result was amazing and so very worth it!!
I used LOTS of Punches, a new Alterations Die and I dug out some older K&Company Papers for this one.. as they really capture the Vintage look so well…

Surprise...

Two Coats of Glossy Accents really makes the Balloons Pop!!

Made the re-enforcer  with the Crop-a-dile and 1/2" circle punch...

Poked holes with a paper piercer and looped some ribbon to look like a knot...

This was a fairly easy Birthday Card...once I figured out what I wanted to do AFTER I stamped and colored the balloons!! hee hee

To The Moon Bday Card...

I love this "To The Moon" Collection" -  for a Boy's Card or Scrap Page!

What I couldn't find in the Stickers, I fussy cut from the papers..

Because I plan to use this as a Birthday card, I created some embossed balloons...
The Washi tape adds a great border and added strength to the folds..

This journaling card placed on the back makes the perfect place to add your Sentiment...
Adding the Belly-Band not only helps keep it closed for mailing but adds to the fun too!!

I just love these "Pop-up Box Cards"  ( the tutorial can be found at www.SplitcoastStampers.com) and what fun they are to open....I guess it just brings out the Kid in Me, eh...??? hee hee

Good Luck...

 Love this design..

Lots of nested layering...

 Embossed Alphas...

A Banner, a Button and some Jute...

The finished card has a pocket where I placed a cheque...

A dear friend of mine is hosting a fundraiser for her brother in law who will require many trips to the hospital in the foreseeable future..I had seen this " Building Block Card" tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers and quickly realized how perfect it would be for this particular occasion..

Hope it inspires..

Sending My Love...

Love the look of Kraft with this card..

Embossing Borders were meant for specific highlighting....

Isn't it incredible how changing colours completely changes the feel..??

I'm really liking the cut out and layered hearts..no matter what colours I use for the card!!
The Kraft Cardstock and jute is so much more Masculine..The white with the glitter and pearls is definitely softer and more feminine..
This could be a sympathy.. get well... or maybe just a "hoping you feel better soon" card, that we can all appreciate from time to time....

Lots of Hearts...

Really like the tone on tone of these cards, especially with the texture created with the embossed backgrounds and the clear embossed hearts die cuts...

These cards can be used for anything "heart" felt..

They are Elegant enough for Wedding Invitations..

Or  perhaps an Anniversary..?

Who says White in February is only about Snow?? hee hee
I've been wanting to create some versatile cards that can be adapted to suit many occasions.. hence I've not included a sentiment on the front of the card..allowing the receiver  to see that this card is simply from the Heart and that the appropriate wording can be stamped/written inside...
