A day at the Beach...

The color palette for case #207 over at CSI was perfect for these beautiful photos of my God-daughter and her husband on their wedding day last summer at White Point Resort in Nova Scotia, Canada... and what a gorgeous day it was!!
This awesome wreath is from Creative Embellishments one of the prize sponsors at CSI... I was so delighted to have won for the month of April and couldn't wait to create a layout with one of her products.... thanks Nicolle!!
I created some heavy brush lines of gesso in the background for texture, then water colored with my distress inks, a beach scene... stamped the lighthouse with Versamark and  white embossing powder by Zing.
I cut out the title with my Cricut and Stone Script Cartridge.. stitched around the edges and called it done...
All in all...I was pleased with the overall softness of the layout...

Flower Girl...

Here's my Submission for case #204 over at CSI ..I was fortunate to have these beautiful photos of my grand-niece Kinley..although they have just moved back to Canada, they were fortunate to have lived in Houston, Tx for several years and they pics were taken in a field of the very famous Blue Bonnets of Texas.. a perfect color combo for the color palette this week....
I really enjoy creating my own embellishments and backgrounds and this week was no different... as I used a lot of dies, stamps and water colors.....
Challenges are always a great way to get inspired...and CSI are full of wonderful artists to be inspired by...!!

Bday Card 02...

I made this for my favorite youngest son's Bday.. it's always more challenging to create an interesting Adult Masculine card.
I used a new stamp set from Stampin' Up - Amazing Birthday... I can see how versatile this set is going to be..
This was my first time using their products and I have to say I was very impressed with their quality...
Unfortunately it did not photograph well, due to poor weather and lack of good natural light and I had to get in the mail so it can reach him on time...

This was Tweet Worthy...

The striped and flower clouds were die cut from a Lawn Fawn Cloud Die..
These little birds and clouds were cut on my Cricut from the Create a Critter cartridge..
The fence came from a Martha Stewart Punch...

My dear friend Lesley allowed me to use this awesome photo from her very recent trip to Israel... along with some incredible images from all over this country she managed to catch this one of a very curious donkey!!
It was perfect for this week's Case #201 over at CSI .. of course my backdrop may be a wee bit more whimsical than his actual abode, I couldn't help but take some creative liberties!! hee hee
Papers & Stickers are older and all shopped from my stash....

Here's Case 200 over at CSI and the color pallet this week was just perfect for a photo I had been wanting to scrap for a little while.... Jaden is only about 5 in this pic and with the spiked hair, the growly face and the dinosaur in his hand ... I couldn't resist!! hee hee

Lots of stamping with this one and what fun to do a Boy Page....
