Christmas Card 07 - 2015
The gorgeous Snowman is an older Stamp from Inkadinkdo - Filigree Snowman #99402
I clear embossed him on a white card base - created the blue sky background with some Distress Inks... mopped up some water drops for a snowy effect, added some dimension with fun foam, wrapped it up with some string, some bling and that is pretty much it...!

Christmas Card 03 - 2015
This was the card created for my family and friends this year.. it looks so much nicer in real life.. The angel stamp is from an older Recollection Christmas set.. painted it with my "almost" new ZIG clean color watercolor brush set... created masks for the snow hill and angel..heat embossed the snowy background..used some distress ink to make the beautiful blue sky and voila!!

Sympathy Card 01...
It's been awhile since I've posted anything... hopefully now that hibernation weather is right around the corner I will have more time to post new cards and/or scrap pages...
I was fortunate enough to win a bid for some stamps/dies/punches from Darlene DeVries... and here is one card made from the Stippled Blossoms set from Stampin' Up... what a versatile stamp this is and also my first attempt with layered stamping/water coloring... I like the effect alot!

Another Birthday card that was totally inspired by a beautiful card I had seen on Pinterest.. punched out the flowers from cardstock I had painted with my Kuretake water color set, along with the matting... easy peasy!!
Happy Birthday 05-2015
I did make a few cards..many were mailed out before I had a chance to take any photos! However, I did manage to take some time and get these posted.....

Capture this Smile...
This Layout was truly a Joy for me to create...my son's wonderful partner Philip sent me the photo of D'Arcy holding his tooth-fairy pillow that I had made for my kids... that happy smile of his actually made me smile and shed a few nostalgic tears at the same time...it was off to the races after that!! hee hee
That wonderful sketch and color scheme for Case #157 over at CSI was perfect!!
I created the polaroid frames... pulled out my acrylic paints...then outlined them with a black photo pen...
I did a lot of stamping.. creating grids and photo strips that matched the colors for this case... and I even cheated and printed/fussy cut out those ADORABLE cats... they added just the right amount of fun and whimsy to the page....!!
I enjoyed every nano-second of this project and I am so delighted to be back scrapbooking again!!

BFF...
Loving the challenges over a CSI..and thrilled that I was featured with my last layout Case #155..
This is also the first time that I played with a mixed media background.. it's kind of like holding your breath and jumping into the deep end of the pool.... then racing for shallow, safer waters!! hee hee
Actually it's a lot of fun and I want to play more with this format or at least begin to incorporate some of these techniques into my scrap pages....
This layout was for Case #156... come over and play along!!
