Hope everyone is looking forward to a Happy and Peaceful Holiday....

- used ALL of those traditional colors
- stripes
- holiday stuff
- snowflakes
- metal - brads
- trees
- journaled about the boys decorating their Christmas Tree...

My Best Friends Wedding...

This weeks colour palette for Case #218 over at CSI was perfect for these super cute photos of my niece Lorie and her BFF taken just before Lorie's outdoor wedding on her and her hubby's farm... I also used a wonderful sketch featured at Stuck?Sketches ...

- used all of the colours
- dots
- animals
- leaves
- circles
- journal card
- hearts
- clouds
- labels
- journaled about Lorie and her BFF at Lorie's outdoor wedding on her farm

- I created a background matt for the photos by heat embossing with white embossing powder and a distress stamp by Tim Holtz then blending over it  with "scattered straw" distress ink.
- Stamped and fussy cut the birds, flowers, clouds & labels so that I could get just the right colours..
- Created and cut the title with my Cricut Expression
- Outlined the matt with a grey fineliner pen by Recollections.. did a little stitching...added some candy buttons.. stamped the date..
- and that was pretty much it..!!

October Madness...

I heat embossed the background woodgrain matt from a stamp I have by Market Street Stamps # MSS-BK-16
I fussy cut al of my images from an older collection - Witch Hazel by October Afternoon..
The title I created and cut with my Cricut Expression
I used my Tab Punch from We R Memory Keepers to top two of my photos
Stamped a sentiment on them with an older stamp set from Dear Lizzy - 5th and Frolic
The other shapes of leaves and the little acorn on the Title are from an older Sizzix die collection
Most of the colours came from my distress inks for this weeks beautiful fall palette..

This is my submission for Case #212 over at CSI this week... the color palette was perfect..!

My granddaughter Jaelin (on the left) has just left home for University this past weekend and is sharing her first apartment with a close friend... Mom and Dad have driven them to their new digs and Mom is saying goodbye ... these photos say it all and I still get a lump in my throat when I look at them....

Oh, the fun!...

It's Case #211 over at CSI this week and the Color Palette and Sketch were perfect for this Layout of my little cousin Kinley... as the journaling states... "Its always a giggle when Trina posts a pic of Kinley's newest adventure..." and who doesn't love The Cat in the Hat...??

Created my own filmstrip so I could get just the size of frame I wanted..
Got to use my doily dies... heart punches, distress inks and teacup stamp by lawnfawn...downloaded my images from the internet and messed around with the sizing till I was happy with the result...
Lots of fun with this page!!

Time Stands Still...

I've been wanting to do a layout about where I live, since it is so special to me.. perhaps it's because I grew up in this beautiful place or because we are all deeply connected to nature.... whatever the reason is....even on the grumpiest day I am having, all I need to do is take a short drive to feel my energy changing and my very being infused with a deep sense of well being....
Lots of stamping, die cuts and water coloring complete this page.....

Day's end...

I was not able to get this layout finished in time for the Reveal for Case No: 208 over at CSI but I really wanted to finish it because I just LOVED those images of my little cousins fast asleep after the BIG day they had as attendant's at their Uncle Normans wedding!
A BIG thanks to Emma for such a great sketch!!
